Swimming Carnival
The Inter-House Year 3 - 6 Swimming Carnival
is held at Albion Park Pool very early in first term and
the most successful competitors go on to represent at the
District Inter-School Carnival.
Athletics Carnival
The Year 3 - 6 Inter-House Athletics
Carnival is held during June/July. As with swimming the
most successful performers go on to the District Carnival.
Education/Book Week
Throughout NSW each year Education Week is
held in Term 2. We hold an extensive range of activities
throughout the week and we look forward to sharing these
with parents. Agendas and timetables for the activities are
advertised through the school newsletter.
K-6 Fun Day
One of our most successful activity is the
K-6 Fun Day. This is run with the assistance of the P&C
Association and involves all children in a variety of
activities and competitions. Parents and relatives are
invited and a great day is had by all.
Presentations and Prize Giving
Special ceremonies to present Bronze, Silver
and Gold Behaviour awards are held at the end of Terms 2, 3
and 4.
During the last fortnight of the school year all classes
have their Annual Presentation and Prize Giving function.
Academic, Citizenship and Sporting efforts of pupils are
recognised. A fuller explanation of our award system can be
found in our student welfare policy.
The Principal also holds a presentation and supper for all
children and their parents who receive a special award for
excellence. This usually occurs late in third and fourth
terms depending on the number of recipients.
Stewart House
Stewart House is the charity that all
schools support. It is a seaside home at Curl Curl where
pupils needing special care are able to stay from time to
time. This is one of the special charities that the school
supports. Twice a year a used clothing and rag appeal is
held.
