Parent Newsletter
A Newsletter is sent home to parents each week. It contains reports on happenings throughout the school and advises of forthcoming events. It regularly includes a report from the P & C Association. It is also available for download from the school’s web site but you will require the correct name and password.

Notes to Parents
From time to time notes are sent home to parents requesting a written reply in the form of a tear off slip. Parents are asked to return such tear off slips promptly.

Reporting to Parents
Parent/Teacher interviews to discuss the progress of students will be conducted during Term 2 for K - 6. The Department of Education and Training is currently reviewing reporting processes and the school will inform parents of the changes once they are finalised.

Parent/Teacher Interviews
Parents are encouraged to avail themselves of the opportunity to meet their child's teacher. It gives an avenue to discuss any problems in an atmosphere of confidentiality and helps us to a better understanding of your child.

Parents are also invited to make an appointment for an additional Parent/ Teacher interview if they have any reason to discuss a written report.

Sometimes problems arise which cause teachers to seek interviews with parents, and vice versa, at a mutually convenient time. Parents should not expect interviews without an appointment except in serious matters of some urgency.

Pupil Information
Each pupil in the school has on file details that are important to your child's welfare in an emergency. We need to be advised of changes of address, phone numbers (home and business), health requirements and telephone "contact" numbers.

Student Welfare
The school's welfare policy covers school rules, the rights and responsibilities of each student as well as discipline procedures. The aim of the policy is to ensure a safe and happy learning environment for every child. Corporal punishment is not a part of our school discipline code. A copy of the policy is available at school and is distributed to each family.
